in March 2022, I quit my in-house marketing job and moved to England. there was no plan, just me and my photography degree against the world.

I went to networking events solo and perfected my cold email — I was in a new city, in a new country starting a remote brand all on my own.

I quickly realized that my personal life and my business needed the same thing: community.

instead of focussing on signing a new client, I looked for ways to bring people together. in person; through events, hosting and sharing ideas. and online; through creative marketing, relatable content and building approachable brands. the more my world grew, the more opportunities came to me and everyone I worked with. we were giving people something to talk about, something to pay attention to, something to get excited about.
